Like the Feelings Clown, Mirror Me is an emotional literacy puzzle. Look in the mirror and what do you see - you can change the eyes and the mouths and make many different combinations of emotions. Tuzzles have used a child figure - not a girl or a boy so that the puzzle transcends gender issues. Again this puzzle has a starting age of 4 years and upwards. Mirror Me is both a Flat Tray and a Raised Tray puzzle.
Raised Piece Puzzles are the next step after Pegs. The puzzle pieces are raised higher than the frame background which allows small fingers to easily manipulate the pieces. This extends fine motor development. Puzzles help children to develop a range of skills. These include visual motor skills, proprioception, vestibular, tactile and fine motor. These skills are all pre-reading essentials and are extremely important in early childhood development.
