It can be used with the 2nd layer in place, only asking them to place the colourful Egg pieces into the frame using the Pegs located in each piece. However, the bottom layer may also be emoved as a greater challenge. No Pegs and pieces that have specific locations. A very versatile multipurpose learning tool.
