The Counting Caterpillar Table puzzle may be used in two ways. For the beginner counting to five is the first step so to take away any distractions, an extra tail piece has been supplied so that the caterpillar is finished when the child gets up to five. Then the next step is 10, so take away the extra tail piece and the caterpillar becomes counting 1 to 10. A very versatile puzzle with many extra benefits thrown in.
