Bear Expressions, part of our emotional literacy range, helps children understand and relate to the many facial expressions they see around them, assisting their understanding of feelings and the emotions of others around them. They can experiment on the bear by just changing the eyes or the mouth. This is also a 21 piece raised puzzle and will help develop other early developmental skills.
Raised Piece Puzzles are the next step after Pegs. The puzzle pieces are raised higher than the frame background which allows small fingers to easily manipulate the pieces. This extends fine motor development. Puzzles help children to develop a range of skills. These include visual motor skills, proprioception, vestibular, tactile and fine motor. These skills are all pre-reading essentials and are extremely important in early childhood development.
